Why is that? Worley played hurt against Bama's starters and went 8/15 for 120.

I like Dobbs but he was 5/12 for 75 yards against Bama's back ups.
I don't want anything more nor less than for Jones to start the guy who gives UT the best chance to win. I honestly wish Jones had not waited so long to replace Worley today because of the hand. But I think the hate for Worley drives most of you more than anything else.

I seem to remember Bamas starters being in the whole third quarter. If you weren't impressed with what you saw from a true freshman on the road against our biggest rival who is #1, then idk what to tell you. HE TOOK HIS FIRST SNAPS EVER AGAINST BAMAS FIRST TEAM DEFENSE AND LOOKED GOOD. No other way to look at it.

Dobbs was really impressive today. Showered arm strength and hit open receivers. The receivers dropped several, but made Worley look even more mediocre by comparison. He also made a few nice runs and actually makes the read option make sense.

Saying Worley is mediocre is being very kind to Worley.

If he is not hurt, Worley will be QB, but he will be on a short leash. I noticed there were no audibles with Dobbs in. The coaches don't want to put too much pressure on Dobbs. So this will limit the offense, so it's a healthy Worley starting next week.

Dobbs has now played one half of football and his redshirt got burned. He should start for the rest of the season, get some momentum, make it to a bowl, and gear up for next year.

DOBBS has got to be the guy from here on out. Coaches really need to work with him on being able to keep the read option and we have our qb for the next 4 years!

Dobbs is a beast... Or at least it appeared so in the one half he played. His arm isn't Tyler Bray strong, but he is pretty accurate and the offense appears to run much smoother with him in control.

Dobbs is clearly the answer for the QB situation for the rest of the season, let's just hope Butch thinks the same.

Meh. Dobbs got more snaps against Bamas 2 deep than most want to think. Their D don't lay down on 5 td leads like some do. They try to shut you out. I think your selling him a little short on his first performance on the road. I said a month ago if Dobbs or RF couldn't take the job away from Worley our ceiling on O was lower than most want to think. I hate to see Justin get hurt and it happen that way but I see the future of this offense having a greater ceiling with Dobbs

Dobbs...no question, but Worley had best be prepared to come in also. If I was Butch, I might even consider rotating them.

But let's see how Worley's thumb is.

Clearly we didn't watch the same game then because Dobbs faced if not half than 3/4 of bamas starting D. And two or three of those passes were on the receivers. Dobbs = instant upgrade

If Dobbs is clearly the answer Jones didn't think so. The only reason he was in, if what I've seen is correct, is because Ferguson was nursing an injury. Both freshmen QBs should play. My gosh, did you people marry the first girl you had a crush on?

That was speculation and word of mouth, and the gap wasn't great regardless.

anyone think worley has a shot or is he done for the year? i would prefer dobbs.

I think playing Dobbs will allow our Offense to open up and flourish with his skill-set. Would like to see him get the start against Mizzou.

Dobbs all the way. If Worley starts, it's really going to raise some questions and eyebrows.

We've seen enough of Worley to know that he is at best an inaccurate game manager. Dobbs will make some freshman mistakes sure, but so has Worley and he's not a freshman.
