If you had your choice, would you rather get Bray, Scroggins or another top QB for 2010 or get Christian Lemay (Butler H.S/ Matthew NC) for 2011? This kid looks and sounds like he could be the real deal. check out this video, kinda long but gives you an idea. He was a Sophmore in this vid...

Defiantly would prefer to get Scroggins or Bray for next season over Lemay in two seasons if it was a, you can only have one scenario.

I would still rather have Scroggins than Bray. Personally, I would like Worley in the '11 class...

Bray. I've personally always liked him more than Scroggins because of his size and arm. The fact that he isn't the most mobile quarterback is also nice. Won't see a lot of scrambling and throwing on the run. Will be taught to drop back and throw. Could be turned into a really good pure passer.

Having good mobility, like a PS QB like Scroggins isn't a bag thing at all. The only time they are going to use their legs is when they have to. In a perfect world, we'd get a QB that is a pure passer and mobile, and I think Scroggins fits the mold. JMO

And all QBs, DT or PS, will have to throw on the run...

Oh yeah, mobility is always good. If he can learn to drop back and get rid of the ball immediately because he can't afford to scramble, that's always a good thing too. Kind of like a Texas Tech quarterback or Peyton Manning. Key word... like :p. If he is dropping back and getting rid of the ball quickly only to turn it over then that sucks. I just think it could benefit him and Tennessee's pro style offense because has no other choice but to learn defenses and get rid of the ball quickly.

I like Bray because he's a kind of diamond in the rough type of recruit that they can help develop and mold into a great college QB. I've always liked tall QB's. Man I wish Ryan Mallet came to TN instead of going to Arkansas.

Me too, he's got a cannon for an arm!

Ditto on the Mallet comment but oh well. I also agree about Bray, his upside is huge. He may well turn out to be one of the top QB's in the class. He certainly has shot up the rival's rankings.

I just noticed he shot up to a 4* recruit and now #6 Pro-style QB recruit for 2010. Not too shabby. I believe he was a 3* and way down the QB list a few months ago.

Bray has been 4* for a long time. But he has moved up in the quarterback rankings recently.

My bad...must have got his star rating confused with Scout which has him ranked as a 3* prospect.

Hope he's putting on some weight..look how skinny he is:

Why not Bray AND either Bridgewater or LeMay? We need to be recruiting at least one top QB each year.

I like bray. I watched the elite 11 stuff on ESPNU and all the guys talked about how he will atleast be a great QB and a back up NFL QB. That's pretty good to me.

You my friend have been conditioned to Fulmer's acceptance of so-so players the last decade. We need the top-notch Heisman QB potential. I don't want to settle for back-up quality crap. Seriously, we have a strong tradition and I think most people have unintentionally forgotten our once prestigious prowess we had.

Sorry if it came off wierd. I was getting dragged around by the girlfriend on errands and was trying to escape the pain by typing on here.

The elite guys said he will end up being the greatest pick up at QB for this class but will need a S&C program for a year or 2. (He is coming in at xmas I believe which will help out big) He won 3 out of 4 days at the camp. Going against Heaps, Bell, and Scroogins. They said he is such a great prospect player they expect him to atleast end up as a all stars back up in the NFL. Not a college back up. They said he will be a all star after a good coaching in the college ranks.

Oh Also Im not a fulmer homer. Just an FYI
