rather NOT have on your team:

Player A:
Teammates don't like him
He throws other teammates under the bus
Had drug problems in past
Future hall of famer
Selfish
Celebrates wildly after touchdowns

Player B:
Teammates don't like him
He throws other teammates under the bus
Future hall of famer
Selfish
Celebrates wildly after touchdowns

I'd rather have Jason Witten on my team than TO for the simple reason that he's in his prime. TO is on his downhill slide.

I'll bite. I take player B because I wouldn't want to worry about the previous drug problems. Now, tell me how I made the wrong choice.

i would take B because if they have drug problems and get caught like Matt Jones they could get suspended from the league. Mis-read it, it said "had" so i'm assuming he no longer does. If that's the case then i really don't care about which player i had.

I don't have enough info to make a choice. If the drug used was serious and the player is strong enough to battle through it and put it behind him, that says a lot about him.

I'd take the one with the drug problems. He knows how to party. The other guy has no redeeming qualities.

this is a stupid question.

if the only difference is that one does drugs and the other doesn't, i'll take the one who doesn't.

It would be contingent on how bad the drug problems were... and how far in the past they took place. I'm all for giving people 2nd chances... but given those are unknown variables, I would rather not have Player A.

Second thought.....Like Richard Pryor I'll say "None of the above."

Force retirement for both, sign up your avatar and draft some new talented millionaires who have less problems.

If a guy is focused and determined to stay on the right track, motivated on and off the field, I would have no problem with a former drug user.Especially since I know of several people who have dealt with their addictive behavior and gone on to be excellent role models and can help people dealing with the same kind of demons. One more thought, I liken the never before user to a never before drinker going off to college, going to his first party at school, and over indulging and nearly dies due to alcohol poisoning.Had he just a little taste of this unshielded lifestyle prior he would be better off IMO.

depends on the position. Player A is Favre and I would take him in his prime over player B (I think).

Was that ever a stipulation?

I thought it was a "current player later in their career".

This is a vague and confusing question. I demand a recount.

if player A is in his prime, I might change my answer. However, if it's Favre, I might not.
