The men and women have both lost 3 games. I would have never imagined that at the beginning of the season...props to the LV's however for the 3 extra wins.

Something else that's strange is how we feel about both of those records.

Our guys are the talk of the town. Bruce Pearl's name is among those for coach of the year and they're selling out TBA left and right.

Our women, with the same record, are looking like failures up to this point. Everyone is wondering what's going on with them and why they, with the talent and coaching they have, aren't undefeated.

It's like Kentucky. They are 15-8 and ready to fire their coach. Normally our mens basketball team would be perfectly happy with 15-8.

We briefly made it up to #4 in 2000 (I think it was 2000 anyway...), but I'm not sure what the Lady Vols were ranked then.

Yeah we hit #4 and proceeded to tank the rest of the season. Cost some guy his job...
