Is the best thing since.... well.... sliced bread.

For those of you that don't know:

They're from Jacksonville, FL and they are in their own genre that they have termed "Dirty South Punk Rock"

It takes the best of Punk and Hip-Hop and puts them in a blender. It's a great musical smoothie, if you will.

If you like punk or hip hop, I definitely recommend them.

I can't get enough of the breakdown in "I can't think" And "Throw Your Sets Up" reminds me of the better things about this town. Although, to quote the song "right near 301 down by A1A" isn't exactly the "hood" as is claimed. In fact, TPC Sawgrass is right there, and it's one of the more upper class areas of Jacksonville Beach. I want to see them live so bad. An ex of mine used to date Aaron Abraham (the lead singer) and she used to tell me how phenomenal even their "garage" type shows were years ago. Right now they're on a European tour with Taking Back Sunday and Underoath, but they're back in the states in May, and playing in Jax on May 11th so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go, although the last time I got in a pit at a punk show (Rancid) I chipped a bunch of teeth and got a hairline fracture in my jaw, and I expect more of the same. Should be good times!
