Alumni hall will be opening at 8 today instead of 10. They also will have them online at that time. Lots of numbers...and also will have the big boy sizes.

How do you know it's authentic? Other than not purchasing it at Wal-Mart. Lol. Unless you buy game worn jerseys are they not all replicas?

He's referring to the actual name of the jersey, dont be that guy, it's too early.

Those are "Replica" Jerseys that are on sale now, and the checkerboard numbers and several other features are poor quality. Plus the jersey has no fit to it, if you buy the right size, it just hangs on you like a giant silk sheet.


The "Authentic" Jersey is made of better quality fabric and the numbers and names are screen printed on, they are sewn on.

Plus, the checkerboards will be the same fabric as they are on the field, thus making them more subtle.

Authentic jerseys are game issued jerseys...Not the cheaper made replicas....There is a big difference.

They are replicas but they have patches and sown on lettering. There is a huge difference in the longevity of the jersey. Plus the way the white away jerseys are done now with the checkered board letting there is no way I would buy a regular replica. The others are called premier jerseys. Hopefully the premier will actually look like the real one with the actual design in the jersey cloth itself.

Also game issued jerseys sizes go by numbers like 48-50-52 etc while replicas go by L-XL-XXL etc...USUALLY...Game jerseys are much heaver and have double padding on the shoulders and usually spandex side panels and heaver material... Game jerseys are not usually very comfortable to wear as most are not long sleeved like the replicas and are made for fitting shoulder pads into them....I collect game jerseys as you can tell lol

I don't believe there will be authentic versions available. Neither Nike or Adidas typically makes authentic college jerseys, only replicas, because of the limited demand.

We tried, but adidas isn't offering us (Sport Seasons, other retailers) to purchase their "authentic" jerseys. Reasons: too few blanks with their new texture on the shoulders, new colors, etc.

Trust me, I wanted them too.

I would image that is by design. The average college football fan has NO business wearing a jersey that actually fits.
