Curious what people think. The obvious pick is Tatum but he goes MIA more than Hopson ever dreamed of doing. But a couple of games last season, it looked like he really tried to step it up and be a leader so I know he has it in him. Hopefully he don't play with a giant chip on his shoulder when shots aint falling down.

So do we struggle for leadership this season? And if not, then who?

Cam Tatum is going to have to take a much more vocal and prominent leadership role, imo. I'd really like to see him avg. 15+ points and 6 rebounds along with being a solid defender at the 3.

I think those numbers are possible. He has the potential to be a really good player. He plays a lot bigger than his size IMO and don't mind going into the paint

I've always thought of him as a 3. I think he might have been underutilized in Pearl's offense.

cam has to step up and be a leader. i also think jordan mcrae has the possibility of being a good leader. he is one big key to this team. such a shame pearl didn't play this guy more.

Kenny Hall needs to explode this year. He needs a Dale Ellis freshman-to-sophomore type uptick in production. He has all the talent necessary to be 2nd or 3rd team All-SEC.

Obviously, Tatum is the one who needs to be the leader. IMO, Golden should feel obligated to step up. It would also be nice to see Hall and McRae take charge.

This is purely a gut feeling, but I think Washpun will be a great leader in years to come. He seems like an intense and vocal player. Add that to his PG position, he has the makings to take charge.

kenny needs to work on his outside shot from 12 feet and out. he's terrible from that area. i do agree he's talented but he has a ton of work to do to be 2nd or 3rd team sec

It's up to Hall and Tatum. Hall has definitely been vocal in the past, just in the wrong circumstances.

However, I think they are both talented enough to lead this team if CCM can get them both to realize their full potential.

Hall is going to need to stay out of foul trouble if he expects to do anything this year. Maybe he'll do a better job of focusing since he knows there isn't a player in front of him this year.
