Yemi's I guess? Hopefully he can pick up some of Maymon's slack when he inevitably fouls out.

i see him starting out coming off the bench to spell maymon, then maymon sliding to the 5 to spell woolridge/hall and stokes staying at the 4. if he is able to gain a starting position he will start at the 4 and maymon will start at the 5.

I expect Yemi to see significant decrease in time. If Hall can actually figure out how to consistently be aggressive, as he was against FLA. and at times tonight, than he and Stokes will share time. Would be interesting to periodically play Stokes, Maymon, and Hall, with Golden and Tatum/Richardson at same time.

Switch em'...Stokes would be at the 5 spot. He is a lot bigger than Maymon.
Stokes- 6'8" 270lbs
Maymon- 6'6" 235

whatever your using to find your measurements your wrong. maymon is 30 pounds heavier than that and probably closer to 6'7"

Come SEC tournament time Maymon and Stokes will both be starting.
Who plays 4 or 5 doesn't really matter in our offense.

My guess Stokes will play mostly Center, with Mayman, Tatum, Golden, and Richardson the other starters.

yea i really dont know where you got your measurments but official measurments off of ut are, maymon 6' 7" 265 and stoke 6' 8" 250. coach martin has said maymon would play the 5 over stokes, stokes likes to pop outside and shoot the mid range game and even step behind the line, this is much better suited at the pf instead of c. if maymon and stokes are both in the lineups it will be stokes at the 4 maymon at the 5 and this is coming out of ccm mouth. it was discussed some on vol calls the other night and mentioned to bob and burt after the game the other night.

I don't understand why he did not give him Yemi's minutes last night. It would have got him on the floor and helped him get ready for Kentucky.

Because the point of playing a game is to win, not prepare for the next? The game was too close to throw in your freshman that hasn't seen PT in months.

I would hope he is better than Yemi the minute he walked on campus.

he is not talking about talent, obviously stokes has much more talent than 99% of our current roster the second he walked on campus here. what he is saying is you dont throw someone out there that may not know all our defensive moves and what is expected in certain situations, so you risk a busted defensive play at an important part of the game.

Would love to see this become a full time rotation:
Golden
Richardson/Mcrae/ Mcbee
Woolridge/ Tatum
Stokes
Maymon/Hall

Gives you the flexibility of moving alot of players around.

yea this is the exact lineup i put up and rotation on another thread. i feel it really gives us our best chance to win at this point. preferably mcbee and tatum getting very few minutes out of the other players.

Yemi has to het some minutes at the 5 spot. One because he has earned them, two because Maymon and Hall can't play a full game without fouling out.

you try and play maymon and hall at the 5 and tell them to play their game but to be careful and stay out of foul trouble. if one of them gets into foul trouble like maymon did last night then yes you should see yemi as the first one to replace them. if nobody gets into foul trouble the no he doesnt need to see the floor unless one of those 2 just needs an additional breather for a minute or something. if this was a couple weeks ago i would say ok take some of kenny's minutes i dont care, but kenny has actually come on and started finding his game offensively and playing aggresive and as long as he is playing that way he needs to continue to see significant minutes.

Coach Martin will figure that out without our help. He is a t practice and sees what each player can do best. I am looking forward to see how the team plays with Stokes in the game.

anyone who thinks Stokes just weighs 250 has not seen him. He also said he is now a legit 6'9"
