Why are such a huge favorite this week?

I hate it when we're favored like this, especially in a game like this...we don't even score more than 19 points very often, and when we do, we'd have to win this game 21-0 to cover...now i'm not a betting man by any stretch (can't mix money with emotion&#33, but if I were, i'd take Memphis and the 18 1/2 in a heart beat. :mf_surrender:

Memphis is starting a Reciever at QB, and they have had so many injuries it is rediculous. That's why the spread is so much.

I don't think we have covered a spread so far this year, but remembering the memphis games of past (one of which we lost and was favored to highly win) they have always seem to be very close contest. We win this one in a close game 17-14, but not by 18.5 points. I still bleed orange and say GO VOLS GO!

We are probably heavily favored because of their poor defense. I know our offense is bad, but their defense is just as bad.
