When we NEED a Home Run to get back in game (there are still HR propsects out there, if the price is right...Patterson is but one of those)? He is hiring like Dooley coached. Like a 3-legged mule running a horse race.

Jack Del Rio, Josh McDaniels, Hugh Jackson, Greg Roman, Mike McCoy....just a few names from the NFL ranks.

Most of the media claimed this was the Top job of all the vacancies this year. Everyone has NOT turned us down. Just like Hamilton's hiring fiasco last time around, if you don't ask, you don't get the hire. Where is your link stating Gary Patterson turned us down? Dying to read that one.

Because the UTAD and university administration has finally proven, once and for all, for everyone to see, that they no longer care anything whatsoever about fielding a winning program. Enjoy a half empty (at best) Neyland everyone.... I hope there's still enough left iver in the budget for a TON of black cloth to start sewing up curtains for the upper deck.... I'm just stunned by all this. The biggest hire in UT history and THIS is the best hart could do??!?? *****.... Just ***** me running.....

I just dont see it. We offer to top coaches and got rejected. Maybe patterson or peterson had no interest at all. We then got rejected by 1,2,3 and 4. So jones is the hire. Who knows....give him a chance. But there is more going on in knoxville then we know. Why else did it get this far? Academics? Or is it just that coaches, who know more about footall then you and I, dont think this is a good job anymore. Times have changed and with this hire, only time will tell.
