Kid is an absolute stud. As it stands right now he's my favorite player we've had in the secondary since Eric Berry. True ball-hawking, hard hitting corner.

I think because people are busy harping on Coleman. Agree though, we're incredibly fortunate to have Sutton on our team. Kid is a ball magnet.

he definitely gets lots of props...top 5 player on the team.

only definitely behind Von and AJ. also possibly North and Maggitt

Sutton will be the best corner in the SEC, IMO. He was already better than VHIII last year.

Kid will be an AA while at Ut.and a future 1st round nfl draft pick.I was so glad the idiot Oc from usu kept going at Cam.He destroyed them and completely owned one side of the field.Future opponents will soon realize too stay away from 23.

I think Cam is the best cornerback we've had since Terry Fair, and you might have to go back even further. He could be in contention for All-American honors by season end if he keeps playing like he did last night. He's playing even better than last season and that's saying a lot.

*All I can do is laugh at the fan above who says he's fifth best on the team, including behind chronically injured Maggitt.

So, you're placing Von Pearson ahead of Marquez North?

Yeah. Von is a highlight machine. North doesn't make the cut to get to the endzone on Von's TD. Each reception by Von was either an incredible catch or an incredible move after the catch. Get him more than 3 (4 with the PI) catches.

Open field tackling was incredible. He blew up plays and stuffed the WR at the catch. We have been missing a lot of open field tackles the last several years. Hope he keeps it up.

Because for the first time in a LONG time...there are a LOT of good things to talk about. Cam should certainly be part f that mix...

Meanwhile...besides our O-Line concerns and run blocking (or lack there of)...the GOOD outweighs the BAD for Team #118/Game #1...

Cam was the 2nd best player on the team last year outside James. Only AJ is even in his hemisphere this year.

Cam is our best defensive player by a good margin & is looking like a first rounder. AJ looks improved & is a good leader.

Because we are starting to expect stellar play from Cam and we are still a little surprised when we get good play from others. Hopefully, soon we will expect this kind of play from team #118.

As our team gets more recruits and more people are making plays like that UT defense thats existed a decade ago. There wont be a corner that plays well rnough and is a complete standout among the whole defense if we get back to SEC championship defense. Not saying he will go unrecognized but there are big guys in the box that should effect every play of the game. The front 7-8 should have their name called more often. Its one of those things do your job, no one notices, screw it up everyone is pointing at you.

He Balled out.... good to not have to worry about that side of the field.... Coleman on the other hand proved he is still Coleman--- chasing a WR and never looking back for the ball....

I do agree we do have alot of good things to talk about. As far as our run blocking is concerned, we were outnumbered in the box all night. Utah state made it a point to clog the middle of the field and keep their number inside the box to their advantage, that's one of the reasons Worley had the success he did, Throwing into man coverage. If we keep making people pay on the outside and over the top opponent's will have to get their safeties back deep and nickel backs in giving us more space to run the ball. The offensive line isnt there yet, but they will be ok.

People are busy harping on Coleman because he is terrible!!! The only time he gets put on the outside, he got burnt, bad!! He didn't look to bad playing the nickel but he just doesn't have the speed or athleticism to cover guys.

That's what I was thinking

IMO Sutton is the best player on the team with AJ being his lone competition. Von and North have the ability to change that though.
