When I was in high school, I was only 5'9 140, and could throw a college football 40 yards.

(I don't weigh that now, though :whistling: )

Funny you mention that..I was thinking the same thing. I'm 5'10 and about 205 and can put the ball on a rope better than Ainge or Clausen...but I prolly wouldn't last 20 snaps. I think it's the endurance factor that gets overlooked.

what do you expect from a 3rd string QB? he was never gonna start at LSU and he should have never started at UT.

if fulmer was thinking the QBs of two sophmores, 1 bench warmer transfer and a guy named Jim Bob Cooter was gonna keep this team at the top then he must be high on something. why didnt he go after a juco? like joseph ayoob.

Ainge can put it on a rope better than anybody... It's just that he isn't this season, for whatever reason. :dunno:

I can throw a relatively accurate ball about 50 yards, depending on how my arm's doing at the time. I can't do that more than 10-15 times consecutively, though. As far as bullets... I just changed my grip on throws to get a flatter throw, so I'm working the kinks out on that one. Tryin' to make them a little tighter.

Junior College? Not a bad idea. Wonder if PF would consider it.

Theres some kid out in Cali right now just itching to get into the SEC.

But seriously, I wouldnt see anything wrong with it, if the kid could transfer and come in ready to play for atleast 2 years.

I suspect many Top schools, would probably argue scholarship numbers over a Juco QB?
