My two sons had playoff games today and I didn't get to watch the game. Was Worley bad or injury??

Thanks.

Because Worley and Ferguson were injured. I can't comment on Peterson, but obviously butch thought it was time to break DOBBS in.

We need Dobbs to get in the weight room hard this off season. He could be really dangerous if he get stronger

Because Worley injured his thumb to the point where he couldn't throw the ball. Add to that, Ferguson has apparently been in a boot all week and the Vol media didn't report it which left Dobbs as the man.

Because it was time. My guess is Butch obviously hates that he had to finally pull the redshirt, but I bet he is excited tonight. Remember, there is one qb on the roster that he picked himself, and it's Dobbs. He can't preach family and come in and bench an upperclassman leader in Worley, who is liked and respected, and put the trust of a new program in a true freshman right off the bat. I think Butch thinks ahead a lot, and that would've possibly divided an already fragile locker room.
Now, his guy is in there, and there is really no debate, imo, as to who has the reigns now. I think the thumb takes the pressure off of him.

Coaches decision-secret stuff. So, Butch yields to the boosters and the vols fans and brings in Dobbs. Dobbs saves the day and beats Alabama.

Worley had a nagging injury to his hand and he threw a lame duck pass that was intercepted and returned for 80 yards for a t.d. Nuff Said!!!!!

Agreed. I thought the play calling was aggressive with him in the game, as if they had all the confidence in the world in him.
