Why did Mark Richt play his backup QB the week of the Florida game?

Did he figure he wasn't going to win against Florida anyway so why not give your backup QB some game reps?

Richt is a god awful in game coach period. Always has been and will continue to be its really no suprise.

I think it is time people started admitting the obvious:
Richt is not a great HC. The state of Georgia produces more blue chip talent than all but a handful of states. They consistently under perform. They get spooked easily and seem to lose interest as a game goes on.

Richt has been there 15 years and brought stability to their program but he simply lacks the passion and perhaps the brains to have them compete for NC's.

I am honestly surprised he is still there despite having a virtual guaranteed 9 win season every year. Of course they could easily lose 4 or more games this year.

They (Georgia) are probably biding their time until they have the right guy in discussions before they tell good ole Richtety Richt to have a nice life.

I know all the dogs I know have had enough of him.
