Face value was $150 for lower level end zone, now theyre $215. Club levels were $200 now $230 and upper level $60 now $83. What the hell is going on? And there's still thousands unsold, I've monitored this since they went on sale, and tickets aren't selling at all. So why the huge increase? I'm really quite sick of Ticketmaster. Is ticketmaster drunk?

I’m not 100% sure, but I believe I saw that Ticketmaster was about to change their display pricing to show the full price inclusive of fees on the price.

It used to be you saw all the fees only at checkout.

As I said, not 100% sure but something to investigate.

Hmmm I'll check on this. But I do know, tickets are not selling at all.

@DC_Vol nailed it. They're now showing the "all-in" price. So you were going to pay that amount regardless after fees.

And no, TM is not drunk, they know exactly what they're doing. It is the folks buying tickets to concerts and sporting events that will pay hundreds or even thousands more for a marginally better/closer/whatever seat that are making this hard for everyone else.

The elimination of paper tickets for events has lead to these ticket websites controlling the market by using algorithms to determine optimal ticket prices. They are even willing to eat tickets instead of lowering prices to fill all the seats. The algorithms show that they can make more money by selling fewer tickets at higher prices rather than selling out at rock bottom prices. The same thing is happening in the apartment rental market as most large apartment owners use one company whose algorithm sets rent prices and purposely keeps some units open in order to maintain the higher rent. Such is the world we live in with computers running more and more of our lives. Rampant inflation is also a major factor in ticket prices skyrocketing over the last few years.

I wonder if tickets can be purchased on gameday at a much lower price? Or, do they keep the price the same which will cause low attendance?
