why dont we start the lineup small.
lofton
watson
bradshaw
asumnu
patterson

we could run the court all night with that lineup, we would lack in size but its not like our big players do crap anyways. wont have to worry about hands of stone dropping the easy passes and would have everyone hustling the whole time. I just dont understand why he even plays.

Given serious minutes, Asumnu would lead the nation in turnovers. You talk about everyone else being negative, then you attack a guy who has been the lone big guy on a team that has won 21 games. He's forced to take on everyone else's entire front line, because none of our other guys are physical enough to hold their position. Patterson does OK, but that's with quickness, not strength. Asumnu plays the game as if he first picked up a basketball last week.

yeah forgot about that

ok how about

smith
patterson
lofton
watson
bradshaw

Im sorry but he may take on some big guys, but he is not the reason we won 21 games. you can give all the credit to our guards. If anything wingate has cost us some games.

Asumnu is jacked up all the time... he overthrows just about every pass. Great athlete, but man, it looks like he injects Red Bull before each game...

This team would not have won 21 games without Wingate's contributions. The lineup you propose would get crushed on the boards to level that they would have very little chance to win. Wingate, if nothing else, occupies the opponent's biggest guy and gives our Liliputians a chance to rebound.

That's four guards and a small forward(Patterson). The other team would simply lob it in to their big men. We'd never get a rebound!
