If your productivity in the work place was similiar to that of Sanders what would happen to you? You would certainly be demoted or fired! You could only displace things so much before eventually you have to be held accountable for productivity. The old saying goes if what you are doing is NOT working DO something else. Well, Sanders is not working! I am sure he is a nice guy, but enough is enough. Many here say it is execution....true but who is in charge of that??????? Sanders!!! Why do we execute on one side of the ball, but not the other??? It is all in player development WHICH rest on the shoulders of the coordinators. While ultimately players do need to perform, it is the coaches who prepare players. Take Weis for example.....he mentally, fundamentally, and physically is preparing ND. That is how he is being successful with avg talent. This whole,...it is the players fault for not executing only holds so much water becuase lack of excution is a direct result of poor coaching!! PERIOD! As Donald Trump did last Thursday,....I say to the whole offensive staff (with the exception of Trooper)....your fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tend to agree with you except for the last part that I quoted above. You just made a whole post saying how the coaches are responsible for execution yet you want to spare Trooper?? If things are happening the way you say, then Trooper should also be on the train out of Knoxville. Riggs, Anderson and Foster have all fumbled balls in the redzone and have been a big part of losing games for us as much as anything else.

Maybe your right. I was saying that merely because troop is so full of energy and he recruits well. You are right about the fumbles though.

I guess the #1 reason folks defend the coaches is...is they see them as 1 of the family. Unconditional love for a fellow lover of the Orange. Have they made mistakes, have they made wrong discisions, and have they failed to make dicisions?...oh yeah. But until they are not part of the Orange nation fans will defend them, irregardless of performance.

We need a chest bump emoticon, we can name it trooper. Then after a good post, we can trooperize each other.

As I mentioned earlier, I am sure Sanders is a nice guy. It is stictly business. I am fairly certain that he will be fired....and to me it is for just cause. He gets paid an awefull lot to do his job. By the way,...isn't he the QB coach as well? How have they fared since he has been the OC? And as far as the family coment that is said from all teams,...bama, fla, etc , BUT they have no problem cutting waste.

Looking at it from a business standpoint, you have to wonder why Sanders has even been the OC at all.

In any major business when an important position opens up, they take applications to get the best person qualified for the job. When Cut left, we didn't take applications. I'm almost sure that we didn't even look for anyone else. Sanders just inherited the position.

Point is, no big business is going to make the mail guy the vice president of the company. Not a successful business anyway. :twocents:

You know I have heard from many that one reason Fulmer wont get rid of Sanders is because he does not want to hire his replacement. I really believe that NOW that it is hurting businesses they will make a change. Nothing gets your attention like losing money!!!!!!!!
