Why does the Texas "T" look like the "Power T" on TV?

These clowns playing against Florida have hats that far too similar to the Power T.

I thought you clowns said that we won that lawsuit with Texas...

I just noticed that myself. On top of that, the orange doesn't look very burnt.

I'd love to play these guys in football. It would be even better if the ADs made a "friendly" bet over the usage of UT in the future.

Nonsensical thought to rile up the Nike lovers: Maybe Nike wants to produce Tennessee gear so bad they make all of the Texas stuff look like Tennessee stuff.

Thought they paid us a royalty to use it.

It's the contrast of the grey vs the orange. ....Makes it look lighter. The letters look similar but they are different.

Cue historically inaccurate takes on the Texas war of Independence......NOW!~

You mean that one where Tennesseeans with the aid of artillery lobbing Peyton Manning and Tyler Bray single handedly took down the Canadians to ensure Texas the right to exist?

You got a point there man. They got rights to the interlocking UT west of the Mississippi I think? Add that to the burnt orange and even their unis look similar. Even all that was no big deal but then their version of a power "T"? Blasphemy!!!
