Why don't coaches have non-compete clauses?

Most schools have policies where players that want to transfer are not granted releases to any teams that school plays.

Why shouldn't that apply to coaches too?
Especially if it is a lateral move and not a promotion.

Because they have the leverage when it's time to negotiate.

I like this!!! Coaches have way to much freedom to leave but the kids have schools blocked
