Still waiting for your argument :whistling:
Here are the primary criticisms of that piece.
The original premise is that FoxNews is not journalism. The vast majority of examples are from opinion shows. No one would claim that Bill O'Reilly or Hannity are practicing journalism in the traditional sense. Typical strawman approach but not objective journalism.
Second, they continually show clips of "experts" giving their opinion in a shouting/argumentative way. Again, no one would claim this is journalism.
Third, they show comments from a White House press briefing (Lockhart) and use that to suggest Fox has an agenda to bash Richard Clarke - Lockhart was making comments that many news programs covered. This is not a Fox journalist making these comments. I assume when they covered Clinton press conferences, anything said by his press secretary was also part of a Fox agenda. Numerous examples like this were shown (e.g. comments from Rice, Rumsfeld, etc.).
Fourth, they contend that graphics and music are somehow evidence of non-journalism. Perhaps but clearly this is not unique to Fox and I would suggest that CNN was the pioneer of this tool.
Fifth, they chose only sound bytes that represent the viewpoint they are trying to portray. An objective presentation of content would show countering statements that do occur on a regular basis.
Sixth, there are numerous examples daily of Fox practicing journalism. The have reporters all over the world that regularly generate and report news stories that are as objective as an other major news org. They conveniently left any reference to these occurrences out of their piece since it is countervailing to their premise.
Last, the only "news" program which they referenced on the entire report was the Britt Hume one. The clip they showed was no different than that you would see from any anchor. However, their critique was that he also appears on an opinion show and gives his opinion.
Now, I would never argue that Fox is unbiased. However, the claim that they do no journalism is a bogus claim. To back that up with onesided portrayals and sound bytes is even worse. The same story could be done about CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC or MSNBC.
