Speaking of saban's success, look at the size and ranking of the 5-6 linebackers they signed in this class. They will be hard to run on.

You research then you pay then you coach and presto 2 National championships.it is really rocket science.

By signing so many guys every year, they're also bringing in roughly 4 recruiting classes every 3 years. That's a whole extra class of players who aren't distributed among other schools.

Why coach Saban is so successful. Let me count the ways.

(1) Recruits the best players in the southeast.
(2) The Alabama brand, allow coach Saban to cherry pick recruits, all over these here united states.
(3) These kids have stars on all recruiting boards, but more importantly, the football players under those stars are identified and secured.
(4) Recruits are being coached up and the best playing position for these athletes, to fit the Bama system, are being identified
(5) The relentless effort of staff and faculty to support these kids, are being reflected in grades and graduation rate.
(6) Oh those irrepressible fans. From the start of the coach Saban era, fan support is off the charts. Beginning with the first glorified practice in 07, when 92,000 squeezed into BD to watch the A-day game, while another 10,000 were turned away for lack of seats.

I feel once these 6 specific standards are met, anyone should be able to dominate, just like the Alabama Crimson Tide.

What does signing so many players every year mean. Don't we all sign the same amount.Maybe his our better than everybody elses and just maybe they coach them up

Why is Saban so succesful? I'll throw in my two pennies.

1. Great defensive mind. There's no denying that the man knows how to coach up defensive players. He's the best in the business.

2. Relentless recruiter. They will come after you really hard if they really want you.

3. Open checkbook. I'm pretty Saban has unlimited resources when it comes to football and recruiting.

4. The guy is all about winning and will do whatever it takes to win, and he does not give a ***** about what anybody thinks of him or his tactics. He will oversign, cut you, greyshirt you, etc. He will do whatever he thinks in necessary to win.
