A lot of people are saying that it's one game, and that we will bounce back, and that we will come back stronger, blah, blah, blah. However, this team doesn't have leaders/mentally strong players like Lofton, Smith, and Bradshaw. This team has no mental strength or tenacity, and I'm not sure Bruce is going to light a fire under them. Yes, we will make the Tourney, but I expect a downfall, not a collapse, but this team will not be a top 25 team this year.

I agree 100%. The problems this team has can not be fixed overnight. Pearl didn't even look that upset last night. I think he was in complete shock but either way, he didn't seem that mad. To look at our team, all of the seniors and talent, If they haven't gotten it together yet...I just don't see it happening. I'm not even too confident in making the tourney. Hopefully Tobias comes in and is the leader we have been missing.

Sweet 16,maybe farther if we can get some good point guard play.I'm now putting a lot of hope into Josh Bone.

You're making your postseason prediction based on someone who hasn't even gotten off the bench once.

What have you seen out of this team so far to make you think they have a chance in hell of advancing past the second round? Any coach with half a brain will gameplan to force the halfcourt, which will beat Tennessee a lot more than not.

Let's be fair, he played for approximately 46 seconds against Wyoming.

Edit: Or did he? ESPN says so, but is he even eligible yet?

Didn't notice that. Probably for a good reason. Still, putting your hopes in a walk-on point guard almost certainly isn't going to turn out well.

It's like if the football team started a walk-on QB.

I agree, I also edited. He may not be eligible yet. Multiple sites have him listed with 1 minute, and I seem to remember seeing him briefly, but we could all be wrong.

This team is sunk. They have no heart and no leader.

No real fans, either. Though they do have wanna be coaches, sports writers and critics who know enough about sports to make a---s out of themselves. AND so little about being fans they should stay off this board.
GO BIG ORANGE !!!!!!

So there are rules for being fans? Do we need practice? Will you be the coach, or is this a situation where you fit the description you provided above?

Sure they'll bounce back. Then they'll get embarrassed by Kansas, split their SEC games down the middle and bow out quietly in the first round of the NCAA tourney. Why would you expect anything different?

Real fans will. I'll support MY school through thick and thin.

Doesn't surprise me that you're from Nashville...Bandwagoners.

So does "supporting your school" mean just mildly turning a blind eye to the situation and cheer when something is obviously amiss, such as a senior-oriented team making the same mistakes they have been makes for the past season and a half and not grow frustrated with it when you know they have the raw talent to be really good?
