Why did we only score 18 points against Vandy? That's terrible. They ought to fire everyone of them coaches. They were throwing interceptions left and right. They got way too many penalties also.

Part of it was because we threw interceptions left and right and got way too many penalties.

FWIW the ofense only scored 11 points...take way the PR by Patterson. The only bright spot on offense was Lane. Even the OL had issues that night. And after a great game against Missou, where was Riveria?

Bray could have picked Vandy apart.
This is is on Bray

Look at his play last year against KY and compare to the Vandy game.....

It appears he doesn't want to have to put in the work to go to a "crappy bowl".

i felt it was his only way to tell dd f you after being an idiot in coaching the team and throwing all of us under the bus!

I don't know why some of you morons keep saying Dooley threw players under the bus! He held them accountable for their actions and responsibilities, which is what he should've done! They're not little kids anymore, these players are young adults and should be held accountable for every decision they make! Time to quit being kids and man up!

The big problem with our offense is the very same idiot that is our current head coach! His play calling is terrible and he needed to be a package deal with dooley. He should have been out the door at the same time! as bad as our offense was saturday, we ran the ball very well! Then on a 2nd and 2 he calls a reverse that looses 9 yards. Our QB was clearly struggling and he just kept throwing it. We could have been 90% run and faired alot better. At least kept from getting blown out.

This started with Dooley taking Bray out of the game after a tipped INT. That was completely idiotic. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that will not motivate Bray. He is an emotional guy and yanking him was not going to do any good. Besides, he wasn't playing poorly enough to pull him. Yes he was 6 of 17 (or something like that) but there were a few dropped passes too.

Stupid, stupid coaching.

Dude is open the majority of the time, Bray just never throws to him.

Bray was 11 for 29 for 103 yards. That may not be exactly right but close.

When you in a pass first offense, and the quarterback has a bad night....tough sleding!

The Vandy game was lost last week during practice. Vandy played Tennessee different than most teams, coming hard after Bray every passing situation and getting into the face of the WRs (hunter and CP) in particular. Tennessee didnt anticipate it and wasnt prepared to attack that type of defensive strategy. They never went across the middle to Rivera, and only went across the middle once to ZR (for a TD wide open BTW). The remainder of the throws were mostly long passes down the sideline and check downs to Lane.....very poor offensive prep during the week last week.

the players for the most part didnt quit but it seems some of the coaches, including Dooley packed it in before the game even started. JMO

I had no faith in Bray. He was either throwing passes 4 yards over his receivers' heads, or he was having his passes tipped. Vandy tipped more passes than any other team all year. Bray is 6'6", that should not happen that often. Bray was not in the game at all. I would have yanked him and left him out.
