"And by the way, what you all know but most people don't know, unlike the African American community with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things" That's an exact quote from Biden. Here's a link to him saying that he can win a southern state because the state he is from was a slave state.
. It's really funny how Biden is given the magic pass to say whatever it is that he wants, whereas anyone else in the country will be crucified for much less, be it justified or not.

Biden did tell the Truth.

“Yes,” Biden said when NPR’s Lulu Garcia-Navarro asked if he’d “reengage with Cuba” on the topic of political asylum.

“And by the way,” he continued, “what you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African-American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.. you go to Florida, and you find a very different attitude about immigration in certain places than you do when you’re in Arizona.”

There, now you have a more complete quote.

Yeah, and in case you missed it, the "slave state" comment had nothing to do with being proud of it. Seems more to do with which party African-Americans reject, and it's not the Democrat.

Politically, because he is on the same side as the people who uses racism as their main weapon.

In terms of ideology, because it isn't considered racist by the great scholars of our time to believe black people are all downtrotten and poor, as long as you believe what we should do about that as a society is coddle them like over protective mothers.

The press is capitalizing the 'B' in black for all publications. Why? Because they believe black people are one monolithic underclass of society too.

It is just in the phrasing.

Don't say, "Black people all think the same, and this is why they all fail in society."

Say "Black people all share a specific experience in a society that is systemically racist and holds them down."

Two sentences for the same thing. But with the latter you can convince yourself it isn't racist, it's anti-racist. I'm sure whoever is spoon feeding Joe Biden apple sauce can help him make the adjustments.

Actively taking out ads to advocate killing innocent poc, discrimination in hiring and housing, repealing of Civil Rights protections, suppression of the black vote.

Joe has a long way to go to catch Trump. Then Trump literally did what he accused Joe of with his misspelled Black vote tweet.

No he was definitely trying to pander to South Carolina out of a mutual dislike for black people. He went on to reiterate that statement at a speaking engagement. I still don't see how the expanded quote changes anything. He's still implying that blacks aren't capable of having dissenting thought

I just don't think that makes any sense, the way you describe it.

But the other thing... He was in an interview with the Conference of Black and Latino journalists, speaking to both a black person and Latina. The question was on Cuba, which as part of the answer, he was attempting to make the point that the Latino community is incredibly diverse and their political issues are different than those of the AA community. Such as the subject of extending political asylum for Cubans, of which Latino opinions will vary.

Yep. He just said it like an idiot in a way that could be made to sound worse. We know what he meant though.
