Why is everyone pressing us?

That's pretty much the reason why we are seeing it so much lately, we can't exploit it, or beat it. Every now and then we can, but not all the time.

Other teams have scouted us, they know we struggle against the press. Hurts nothing to throw together a press and try it out on us. If we handled it they would get out of it

Seems like a coachable moment. Makes me wonder why McBee screams down the court and Maymon stays back to handle Trae's first pass....

I'd press against Golden too lol.

Why wouldnt you?

It's not so much Golden that causes teams to press us. It's who he has to pass it to when he gets doubled in the backcourt. Past Golden, our ball-handling falls off sharply. Take it out of his hands and Jupiter stand a good chance at forcing a turnover.

Fourfold. He can handle it. He can see over the top of it, and can outsize a guard and dribble past their PF.

We are going to see Maymon develop into a first rounder. He is about to add the three ball to his game, and when he does, watch out... He's big and physical, can handle the ball really well, and is getting his shot down.

late in the game when he was going iso from the top of the key and winning every time that was very impressive imo.

the guy is very quick and uses his right hand better than any left handed post guy i have seen at the college level maybe ever. he almost appears more comfortable going right than going left, and that will be huge for him to go and finish with either hand.

if he adds that 3 point shot that ccm is wanting him to add, he will be a very tough guard next year, and the high low game with him and stokes will be unstoppable imo.

That would be great. Though I just don't see a good release for him to be consistent from 3.

his release is horrible, but i guess some people with ugly releases have gotten it down before.

it'll definitely be interesting to see if he is able to make it a consistent shot, that he actually has confidence in.

if it is, watch out. IMO

Reggie Miller had the ugliest release of any great shooter I ever saw. Not comparing the two by any means, but ugly releases are ok if the result is consistently made shots. Maymon has a lot of practice ahead of him to become a consistent threat.

reggie's release was great and consistent. His right elbow out just made it look ugly.
