Considering he's practiced a week, playing against the #2 team in the country in his first game on national television, and just got his diploma a month ago it's quite the feat he is doing.
He hasn't played in a while, is a TRUE Freshman, minus his last semester of high school, etc. For him to come in and make an immediate impact is nothing short of special...
It may just be me, but i don't know which is more ridiculous. his comments about him not knowing how to play or that other guy saying that charge wasn't a charge.
He is being dramatic, but he has a point. It took our own guys this long to start clicking, so I'd say it's quite a task for a mid-term-enrollee freshmen to come in against the #2 team in the country.
The young man is a freak of a player. I watched him in high school for a couple of games and he was the best player of the floor in both of those games and looks like he is starting off really good on this level. The young man will be getting a nice check in a couple of years.
The evidence was on the court. The team went from fair to good the minute Stokes hit the floor. The bigs are taken care of and only get better from here. We are going to be in for a fun ride for the next 1.5 years if coach Zo can improve the PG/SG play to a top level. I would be playing Richardson 25-30 minutes per game.
Dykes is actually complimenting him and saying he is a game changer. He is also just saying the same thing CCM has said all along ... JS is not in game shape, doesn't know the plays, etc. What's clear is that he is a beast. Welcome Jarnell. GO VOLS!!!
Are you accusing ESPN of hiring guys who have a clear bias and then telling them to cover games where that bias will come out? Surely you jest. They would never do such a thing!
I think he is saying with the team. 4 practices and the age of a high school senior. He did say Stokes new how to play and was doing well by pure skill and toughness.
