No, I am 100 % sure Fox had nothing to do with it (although their leaving it up for hours aftter discovering it is a little disturbing).

I just wonder whether the culprit is a Fox aficionado and its interesting they decided to play their Fourth of July/April Fool's joke on the Fox twitter and not any of the other hundred or so choices they had.

Judging by the anarchy promoted by 4Channers, Anonymous, and droves of hackers, I highly doubt it.

perhaps Breitbart did it. You thought he was the one who "hacked" Anthony Weiner's twitter account, so why not reflexively cast blame on him whenever something like this happens.
