He needs to give it up. One can tell you have never played football at the clollege level. Try to understand the hours and hours of time and sweat those players have given to the University on their on $$$. The opportunity to get into a game for just one play will be remembered the rest of their lives. Show your heart instead of your lack of compassion.

Chess club must’ve been rough. Some of these guys invested their life into football and will never see another down. The game wasn’t “over” in the third. We didn’t know the outcome of the other games yet. We needed points and we needed a shutout for the committee and how they viewed us. Grow up.

I noticed in a later thread you stated it was classless. I thought it was a great gesture by our coach to get a few guys in. BTW the clock was already stopped with the previous play going out of bounds. So, it wasn’t classless because the TO just allowed us to make the substitutions
