Don't know about everyone one else but I am sick of the ongoing commentary about our game with Wichita State! On the one hand nobody expected us to win obviously based on the bad press we got with the #2 seed...BUT then all I have heard today is the amazing story of Wichita State winning in our game! I do wish they would make up their minds....are they that good? Are we that bad? Were we that good and they are a Cinderella story?
Thanks for letting me vent....I just get tired of all the hype with Tennessee always being on the bottom side of it...let's just go ahead and crown Wichita State as the huge winners of the tournament!!

I don't hear about it more than I hear about any other game :dunno:

And besides that, there's no such thing as a 'cinderella' this year, with Bucknell, Bradley, George Mason and Wichita State all potentially Sweet 16 teams.

Are you watching the UNC/George Mason game? They have mentioned it about every five minutes or so! ON and on and on.....

I think that WSU is a solid team that did nothing but execute and hit their shots whenever we made a bad decision. The whole game they were just hanging out waiting for us to force bad shots so they could get the rebound and knock down a three.

This is just my opinion, but they didn't take the game from us or administer a beating, we didn't perform well and ended up giving them way too many chances.

I am not speaking to the reality of the actual game. I am whining about the commentators who are talking out of both sides of their mouths. Arguments are being made that Wichita State was a huge upset....THEN they have continuously talked about we did not deserve our 2nd seed....I am saying, "Make up your minds"....either we are awful and Wichita State's win was not that big a deal OR we were a deserving No. 2 seed that was totally shocked by the Shockers!
This is just my hypersensitivity talking and wishing that they would move on with another game to talk about. I am sick of it.

Well lucky for us that George Mason is going to beat UNC and they'll talk about that more...

G.M. beat Michigan State AND North Carolina. Wonder what G.M.'s coach will be making next year? Probably about $400,000

My thoughts exactly. When we had a 5 point lead with about 4 min to play we could have knocked them out but 3 or four trips down we either made turnovers or made bad decisions. They didn't beat us but we beat ourselves.

Now with UNC getting knocked out we could hav had a shot at going ti Indianiaplos had we got by the Shockers.

you think he will still be coaching at GM next year, when schools like indiana are looking to upgrade. he's a prime candidate to be hired by another program with more money.

Ken Carter went to George Mason if you cant think of who that is off the top if your head its the coach from the movie "Coach Carter"

well either george mason or wichita will make the elite 8.

if one of them pulls the upset in the elite 8 they would definately be the 'cinderella' in the final four.
