I've never seen a team give up more open 3's than our Vols club. Why is there always someone from the other team WIDE OPEN?

To be fair, sometimes we foul them when they shoot them.

we have slower guard play on the perimeter than we did a year ago...We really miss J. Smith's defensive play from last year

We left auburn all alone a lot today. We do that tommorrow and i get the feeling none of us will like the outcome of that game.

Now THAT'S funny!! I have a feeling that if there's one thing CBP is hammering on tonight, it's that. I think they would do better to eliminate the "switch" on the pick and just take their chances.

Did I hear it right when the Raycom announcers said that MSU has only had 3 games where they didn't make 9 or more 3 pointers? Yeah, the Vols need to tighten that up.

In my experience, Jeff Lebo teams also find a way of getting all alone on the perimeter....but we made it easier on them than we probably should have....

When talking about the upcoming game the first thing out of Pearl's mouth was "3's." He said we got 'kind of exposed' in that regard (on D) yesterday. Personally, I would rather them launch 3's than successfully get it to 'Swat' down low.

I thought this thread was going to be about how Tennessee can't seem to hit wide open 3s. But yeah...that too!

That is our biggest weakness. If the opposing team is quick and hot with the 3's, we have no chance. Watching the first Kentucky game was agony. But Meeks was in a mega zone that night.

A spot-up shooter has to know how to move to his position without the ball. Most of our guys do not do this. They plant in a position and wait for the ball. The defense can make adjustments when this takes place and we either force the shot or do not take the shot.
