Do you think receivers should use them? They make catching a ball almost effortless. Watching the UGA/Auburn game there has been a lot of one handed catches. When did it become ok to use them(long time , I know) as most of these guy as talented as they are couldn’t do it without gloves. For me, as a traditionalist wish they would get rid of them and make receivers catch bare handed. What are your thoughts on them? They have changed the game some.

It really does help, but not as much as Stick'em.

I tell you what, you get some gloves and let any UT QB throw a few 25-30 yard passes and let's see how easy you think it is with the gloves. Extra points if you even can attempt a one hand catch.

If it makes it "effortless" you should do reasonably well, but it ain't as easy as trained athletes make it look.

I don't think they should be allowed. It's ridiculous IMHO

They are extremely sticky. OBJs famous catch against Dallas doesn't happen without them. I'm fine with gloves but I don't think they should be as tacky as they are.
