We need a significant upgrade at this position in the portal if we’re going to compete at the top end of CFB. And yeah we’re going to need some DBs too.

Ohio State DBs have no fear of our receivers whatsoever. They’re not even backing up at the snap. Just sitting and waiting because they know we can’t get behind them. With still a quarter to go won’t be surprised with a pick six in the 4th qtr. Their corners keep getting closer to it on those curls.

This is coaching, yes we need WR's with speed, but why are none of the freshman ready? Why are we calling stupid plays like a RB pitch on 3 and 7 to out at the half? Our D-line is playing like they are opting out for the NFL except for James Peirce ironically. The biggest concern I have is Josh wont make the changes that we actually need in the off season, wont utilize the transfer portal like we need.

I’m with you on play calling. I watch Oregon play and like that’s a great play call over and over again. I watch us and I can tell everyone around me what’s coming before the ball is snapped. If I can, well…

Well Mr Hairy…it should be pretty obvious wide receivers are just part of the problem. We can’t stop a pass play. Our play calling is horrific. Nico can’t make decisions fast enough and is missing open receivers. We can’t play on the road. Etc etc etc etc

I agree with all that except the Nico part. He’s been fighting and running for his life the whole game.

Our WRs haven’t been open once all game.

We had receivers running open in the first half he just missed them. Didn’t see them.

He doesn’t go through his progressions quick enough

Bingo! Our WRs are incredibly weak this year. It’s bad. Not able to get open down the field. Then when they finally do something, they get hurt. Nico needs to get rid of the ball, but I don’t see guys flying open for him either.
