Wife washed iPod!!

It works fine as long as I have it hooked to my pc but the battery will not hold a charge. Other than trying to get apple to fix it can anyone reccomend a repair place?

Put it in a jar of rice. Will absorb the moisture. Not sure about the battery though, might have to send it in to apple.

Yeah, you can't take the battery out, and you are supposed to do that before you put it in the rice, so you're probably going to have to find an Apple repair shop (or any other electronic repair shop) around your town.

I can vouch for the rice trick, didnt know what to think when someone told me to try it, but it worked and has been going strong for about a year now. And my wife dropped it in the pool for about a minute

I jumped into the river last year with mine in my pocket, left it in the freezer over night and it has worked ever since.

If its still under warranty you might want to check with Apple. I cracked the screen on mine and sent it into them. They fixed it for free.
