Did you watch the Jets shellacking of the Bengals last night? Almost nothing was placed on Sanchez. Also, the Bengals lost Chad Johnson AKA Ochocinco and 2 starters on the Defense.

Also, I would be very concerned about the loss of Welker if I were the Pats.

Even without Welker, the Pats are still a much better team than the Ravens.

Not if they get in Brady's face. There has been several times this year where teams get after Brady and he has made mistakes or simply hasn't been able to move the ball.

That's what I'm thinking. Welker is a fantastic safety valve that the Pats use to combat the blitz and open the rungame by stunting the LBs and opening the deep pass game for Moss.

The Ravens have been playing great Defense and Ray Rice could have a huge game due to injuries to Ty Warren, Jarvis Green and Vince Wilfork.

IMO Ray Rice is gonna have to have a huge game, and Julian Edelman aka Wes Welker jr. is gonna have to get *completely* shut down in order for the Ravens to win. I don't see CBB getting outsmarted here, especially not in the playoffs, and especially when he's got the better talent on the field.

I honestly dont think the Ravens Defense has been near as great as it used to be since Rex Ryan left

they're still really good, but they're not playing scary dominant anymore

Their Defense is 3rd in Points and 3rd in Total Yards Allowed. Not dominant but still pretty darned good.

The Bungles laid down against the Jets. They had nothing to play for and the Jets had to win the game. If the Bengals had beaten the Jets they would have had to play Houston instead this week. They get to play an easier team that has shown all their cards the week before.

I disagree with that, the Ravens D is better, but the Pats O is better, I think the Ravens can run the ball and control the clock and the lose of Welker is why I picked the Ravens. I am amost certain the Ravens will double Moss and make those other receivers beat them, all the while putting Brady on the ground every chance they get.

Last time I checked the Pats are 8-0 at home this year and havent lost a home playoff game since Earl Campbell was in the league.

Until that changes the Pats have to be the favorite. I think they win handily.

You don't think the lose of Welker will hurt them?

It will hurt a little, but Im fairly certain someone else can step in an be that posession guy.....especially now that Welker is out, Moss will draw a crowd leaving someone to reap the benefits.

I don't think that you can just put someone else in and replace Welker without there being a dropoff. While I hate the Pats, Welker is not the biggest, fastest or quickest guy I have ever seen but he is really smart and savvy. He always manages to find a way to get open.
