Trailing by five runs going into the bottom of the ninth, Tennessee rallied to within a single tally and loaded the bases before Will Maddox was caught trying to steal home with two strikes and two outs to end the game with Georgia on top, 8-7.

More 1 run losses than I can ever remember. Seems like we lose by 1 run every game.

Trying to steal home with two outs is desperation. Probably less than 5% odds.

At some point the one run losses better turn the other direction. But I don't see it happening on a regular basis for another year or two. CDS knows what he is doing, but Hamilton and Raleigh nearly killed the program. Takes awhile to build the roster, experience, and learning how to win at a high level.

the losses are not on past AD or Coaches. The losses this season rest squarely on the shoulders ( or big stuffed bellies) of the coaches. The players are giving it their all as directed by the coaching staff. Whether executing the "pressure offense" getting thrown out trying for the extra base ( may work in Cali but not SEC) or trying to steel home with two outs on a pitcher who can't throw strikes, time after time it is poor coaching decisions, pressing and putting kids in a position to fail. This staff should be ashamed. CDS wake up. You and your staff are running thru your nine lives faster than your base runner was thrown out trying to steal home. I want to support the program but you are making it very difficult. Coach up the players you have. Put them in a position to win. Recruit for the future. That is your job. Do what you were hired to do.

If there is no improvement at the end of three years and we are still a very bad baseball team I see no hope in the current coaching staff....Most good programs turnover their roster every three years....So at the end of three years I see no valid reason to blame Hamilton & Raleigh - Show me some inprovement in the Won/Loss column - Win a couple of Home Series and don't get swept ever at home....Anything less than 10 wins in the SEC is unacceptable - If our fanbase is content after three years of costant losing then we need to drop the program because there is no hope.....Next year must be better......
