I think you mean Wes Boling.

I've known Wes since Comm 110 our freshman year at UT. Even in August 2003, his dream was to become the Voice of the Vols!

We worked at the same station a few years after graduating. Not only is he a good announcer, he is about as nice a guy as I've come across in the TV industry. He would be an excellent choice.

Best radio announcer in the NFL. Hands down.

No way he'd leave the NFL for UT though, no matter how much he loves us. He's invested way too much of his career time in the league. That's about as serious as Jon Gruden becoming the next UT coach.
I’m not a Mike Keith fan. Can’t stand that “SACK” bellow he screeches. That’s not natural.

Not sure he has much competition for that

He was talking about Will. He is Wes' younger brother. I was in the car and heard him call a soccer game earlier this year. I wouldn't hate it if he was given a shot. I can guarantee you he would be a little more exciting than Mr. "What a turn of events". I do like Bob. He is a gentleman and represents the University as well as you could hope, BUT...as the "Voice of the Vols", I would like a little more personality and excitement.

Wasn't Keith "The Voice of the Vols" in waiting before he waited so long that he gave up and took the Titans job?
