Bonds is done I believe and hope. I think his legal problems will keep owners away.

I might get hammered for this, but there is one team that could pull off Barry Bonds. The Boston Red Sox. They are going to need to replace Big Papi and they are about the only team that could handle the media onslaught that would ensue. No other team in contention could handle Bonds. The Pirates could take him just to get butts in the seats, but he would be a HUGE liability in left or even if they tried him at first.

Beautiful. I was about to say if I were the owner of a team that had lagging attendance I might pick him up to bolster those numbers.

I like how you think.

My sports management master's at work. I would like to thank ODU and all my professors.

Seriously though, even out of the cellar dwellers, only Pittsburgh could handle the situation, only because Bonds would be coming back to where it all began. I hate to say it, but Pittsburgh would definitely soften many fans' opinion on him.

As a Dodgers fan, I hope he never plays again. It's more of a Giants thing than a Bonds thing. :)
