So with 2 games left, chargers and seahawks, how many think he will reach 2,000? He has 1,730 right now.

And if you dont already know, he promised his offensive line brand new cars if he reached it.

What say you?

I say he gets it, he can get 200 on Seattle if he wants to.

For him 135 per game is possible, but i think he's going to fall just short of the 2000 mark.

Which of course makes the 1st Jags game a really costly one since they stopped running him once they got down big, as well as the Steelers game when for whatever reason they only went to him once after polamalu left the game...

He has a chance, but it really hinges on him getting his share of the remaining total against a tough chargers team. If he gets over a 100 yards against them, he's got an excellent shot.

I think they'll let him get at least 100. The coaching staff has been pretty sure in letting him get at least his 100 yards as long as they are still in a game or up big on another team

People have started to key down on him the past couple of weeks. He's made the rest of the offenses lives a little bit easier.

Doesnt he have like 9 games straight with over 100? if he can get 100 on san diego then i think hes a shoe in. hes the best back in the nfl right now. heres to a shot at a wildcard. go titans!!!!

That's what he's good at, not so much grinding yards each game but getting open and then just taking off where noone can catch him

All he needs is a big run and he can have a 130 yard or higher game, which can bring down the number of yards he needs the next game. Though the Chargers would probably have Merriman watch him is my guess

He had 21 for 142 yards against the Bolts last night.

He now has 1,872 yards!

He needs 128 yards against the Seattle!

If he can break off one in the first half for 15-20+ I think he gets it easily.

CJ has a shot at breaking the 2,000 yard mark, but I doubt he'll break Dickerson's single season rushing yardage record. He'll need 234 yards to break Erik's, I do believe he'll break Marshall Faulk's yards from scrimmage record this year though. No doubt about it he is the best back in the league right now. The Titans will feed him the ball 60 times if we have to, to get him the record.

well now he just needs 99

he also got 39 so far out of the 60 or 70 something he needs to break marshall faulk's record

55 more rushing yards gives him 2,000

also I think his 93 yards from scrimmage gave him that faulk record
