Will cold weather Saturday night bother our offense?

Stop inventing things to worry about, please.

It's not even going to be cold in South Carolina on Saturday evening. In the 50s, maybe upper 40s.

That's not cold. Not to young men who have spent every autumn of their lives outdoors playing the game.
The current weather forecast calls for 37 degrees Sat night.

As long as the winds aren’t howling we’ll be ok, and even if they are, we’ll still be ok.

At 4 or 5 am yes. Not between 7 and 11 pm.

That's the daily low temperature. Which almost always comes just before dawn.

Come on, man, you know how daily temperature variations work. Highest temp of the day (expected 59 or 60 degrees on Saturday) comes around 3 pm, then gently drops all evening and through the night until some time before dawn, the daily low comes.

Game time, 7 pm, is much closer to the 3pm high temp than it is to the 4-5 am low temp. So the temperature at game time will correspondingly be much closer to the 60 degree high than to the 37 degree low. Somewhere in the 40s or low 50s.

Brother, this ain't rocket surgery.

Let me help you, Vfl. Our boys are football players. Honest to goodness football players. They are not shawl wrapped wimps, whimpering for their mommies to hug them on account of being a bit chilly. Before the age of pampering, football was football. Our boys don't ask to be pampered, but maybe pampered fans wish they did. Orange you glad I clarified this?
