Will Danica Patrick win in her first full season of Nationwide?

In a poll on NASCAR.com, 51% of respondents say Danica Patrick will win a race in the 2012 season. That's not an overwhelming majority, but a bit of a surprise to me. What does Vol Nation say?

I think she'll win one or maybe more. More talent than some, better equipment than others. Probably an up and down season overall, but I think she can win.

It's definately possible, though I don't see her winning on a short or intermediate track with right out speed. If she wins, it would be in a restrictor plate or fuel mileage race.

Again, she can win a plate race if the right driver is pushing her at the right time. Not likely, so I say no.

You have to remember that Jimmie Johnson looked very average in the Busch Series before he was recognized by Jeff Gordon.

I was actually comparing something that was totally opposite. I'm saying Danica will have a pretty good points finish because of the resources surrounding her. To make my point, I said that even the great Jimmie Johnson struggled in the Busch Series because his equipment was holding him back.

Your the only one talking about equipment. She will have an advantage over the comp equipment wise, but she won't take advantage of it.

so all the Cup guys who have the best equipment and win all the race can't earn points in Busch so Danica finishes 7th instead of 12th? Big deal.

she'll be nothing more than a mid-packer who could get lucky, but probably won't. she'll never be higher than 20th if she goes to Cup full.

i predict a total disaster.
