Citing Evidence They Call 'Contradictory' to Kagan's Confirmation Testimony, 49 Lawmakers Call for Judiciary Committee Investigation | CNSnews.com

Forty-nine members of the U.S. House of
Representatives are calling for the House
Judiciary Committee to investigate Supreme
Court Justice Elena Kagan's involvement in
Obamacare while she was serving as solicitor
general in the Obama administration.

The lawmakers also say that they believe the
evidence so far made public already shows that
Kagan must recuse herself from court cases
involving the health care bill signed into law by
President Barack Obama while she was serving
as Obama's solicitor general.

I want Kagan outta there. A liberal who doesn't support freedom of speech is a terrifying notion to me.

Clarence Thomas should recuse himself simply because he doesn't have the intellectual horsepower to be on the Court.

I thought you guys were all for assessing someone's abilities based solely on, well, their abilities. Certainly you are not suggesting that we should excuse his shortcomings because of his race, are you?

Clear cut racism. I feel sorry for you.

Clarence Thomas has more intellectual horsepower
in his pinky than Obama has in his whole pinko body.

Thomas has more intellectual horsepower than Kagan
and Sotomayor combined! :hi:

How come he never talks or asks questions then? He just sits there...

Have you read any of his opinions??

At least he can stay awake, unlike the ACLU
representative on the court.

Even the average intellectually challenged liberal
should be able to see that Kagan should recuse
herself from decissions on Obammycair.

She is either lying now or she lied before the
senate when she was questioned prior to her
affirmation.

Why is the corrupt Holder run Justice Department
blocking FOIA requests on this matter??

The Kagan Principle - WSJ.com

The Kagan Principle:
"The more stubbornly corrupt the government is, the
more right it has to curtail fundamental liberties."
--------------------------

But there's a world of difference between judicial
restraint and judicial dereliction of duty. James Madison
was not Goldilocks, and the First Amendment says,
"Congress shall make no law." (That applies to the
states as well, thanks to the doctrine of incorporation.)
The court is obliged to strike down laws violating
freedom of speech even if they were enacted with
the best of intentions.

There's something else amiss with Kagan's reasoning.
--------------------------

"The First Amendment's core purpose is to foster a
healthy, vibrant political system full of robust discussion
and debate," Justice Kagan observes in her dissent.

She's right about that--and deeply wrong to think she
has a better way of accomplishing that goal than by
protecting the freedom of speech.

Kagan comes from a family of marxist, her constitution
is the manifesto, not the US Constitution.

What kind of fairey tale is Kagan trying to sell and
what Supreme Court Justice uses the word 'Goldilocks'
when writing an opinion??

What the hell is the Goldilocks solution anyway??????

"A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves."

One would believe that to make informed decisions then proper questions need to be asked...

For once we are in total agreement and this is why
there needs to be a congressional investigation of
Kagan.
