I'm very surprised Bobbit went before Anosike--and to the Sparks, no less. I guess they /really/ need a PG, but I think Bobbit will struggle in the pros. While she's energetic--and she made some big threes in her UT career, I certainly wouldn't call her an exceptional college player. For all the dribbling she does, her assist numbers have been pretty modest for a PG.
On the other hand, I think Anosike has much more upside as a pro. She's big and athletic--and importantly, she finally seems to be developing a little offensive confidence, which if she maintains it could really boost her game. She's also the PERFECT complement to Parker, I think--a physical center who can take some pressure off a scorer--and I'm surprised the Sparks didn't think of that. There are plenty of average PGs around, but athletic centers like Anosike are not so easy to find.
