Will Tony remain loyal to Bruce or will he pull a Phil Fulmer?

I couldn’t help to think the last time a Vol coach was on hiatus and I believe that coach was coach Majors. I’m not trying to ripple you “Fulmer Fanatics” but I gather at one time his loyalty to Majors was impervious. I suppose Coach Jones is loyal to Bruce but I did have that thought, what if Hamilton offered him the knife? I guess based on yesterdays performance Juicy Brucey has nothing to be concerned about.:loco:

Is the smaller font a new fad?

To your point, everything Tony has said and done seems to be positive towards Bruce.

Don't think Tony would. But it doesn't look like he will have the chance, since the Team he coached looked bad, and lost in his first game. CPF's team in 92 was on fire while he was standing in for Majors.

If Pearl is axed then T.J. should remain loyal to the kids and the program he has helped build from the ground up....IMO....if he was given the opportunity. And yesterdays performance was expected IMO too. First game without B.P.....road game....and we have the Dr. Jeckyll / Mr. Hyde basketball team of alltime....if you're not ranked we don't give 100% effort seems these Vols's motto.

If Tony Jones even sniffs the position if and when Bruce Pearl is gone, heads should roll in the athletic department.

I take it someone didn't watch the game yesterday. I don't think this will be a problem.

The halftime and post-game interviews were pretty impressive, though. Give him a chance.

Tony has been preparing for this opportunity for 17 years. Pretty sure that some D1 team will be knocking on his door after this season. That was a pretty impressive display that we put on against Arkansas. The last possession was a perfect example of great coaching.

Tony Jones would be the worst hire in UT sports history.

Not even close to an accurate post. Not because I think Tony would be a good hire, I just know it would be impossible to subplant the the incredibly bad athletic hires UT has made.

Leave of absence due to a heart attack vs Cheating are two different things. Don't think there are any viable internal candidates if Bruce is let go. Clean house.
