I think it's pretty obvious he is going to and the way Urban Meyer is dragging it out is stupid. It's a built in excuse if they lose and if he wins, the legacy of Tebow grows. I know the guy took a bad hit and had a concussion but I will be shocked if he doesn't play. If he ends up playing, Florida knew all along he would be playing. No idea why they would keep it a secret. LSU is going to prepare for Tebow like he is 100% healthy whether plays or not.

To keep LSU in the dark? If you didn't catch the end of any games last year, specifically when Brantley was taking snaps, you wouldn't know that the offense looks a good deal different. Instead of watching game tape and planning for Tebow, Chavis and Co. now have to gameplay for both since there is no clue who will start. A guy named Belichick also uses such strategies and he's done pretty well.

Stupid? What's stupid about keeping LSU guessing?

From your perspective Urban can't please you no matter what. If Tebow starts and UF loses, they have a built in excuse. If UF wins, Tebow's legend grows. If Brantley starts and UF loses then UF has the excuse of the second team QB making his first start in a big road game. I'm curious, if Brantley starts and UF wins, what will you have to cry about?

I'm sure Brantley will run out of the shotgun on every 3rd and less than 5 play like Tebow does.

What is their different to game plan with Brantley? Playing Brantley removes the scenario I posed above which is a HUGE part of why your offense has been so good the last few years. Anytime you guys have the ball 3rd and less than 5, Superman ducks his head and slams through the line to pick up the first. No chance Brantley or any QB for a long time will be able to do with even 10% of the sucess Tebow has had.

I watched some footage of Tebow walking in the stadium. He looked kind of woozy still. If he still has ANY lingering effects, he should not play. Period. The risks are just too great.

LSU is not going to plan for Brantley. If they plan for Tebow, they're ready for Brantley. Kentucky spent no time planning for Brantley and they made him look bad. Sorry but LSU isn't in the dark on anything and Florida fans are smoking somethin' if they believe LSU is planning two different game plans. There will be one game plan and that game plan involves going up against a healthy Tebow whether he is or isn't 100%. Florida better hope Tebow is healthy enough to play because I don't think Brantley can beat LSU. Then again, Urban better hope he doesn't ruin Tebow's life by letting him risk another head injury if he isn't full recovered. LSU is going to be after Tebow all day.

Kentucky did not make Brantley look bad. UF was already up 34-7 when Brantley came into the game and he went 4 for 6 with a touchdown pass. He did all he was expected to do with a big lead.

I like Meyer's record given more than a week to prepare for a team more so than the guy that starts at QB Saturday.

I admit I don't know much about Brantley, but if he is a better passer than Tebow, Florida will have success, only in a little different manner. It may open up the running game more if he can throw accurately. I don't think Tebow will play. I also think he received a minor concussion when he and Berry took on each other. I think the Kentucky one was his second in a short period of time. Maybe his flu symptoms after the Tennessee game were really symptons of a concussion. Do we have a doc in the house that can confirm or deny the symptoms he was showing prior to Kentucky?

I do not think he will play at all. If Meyer plays him and something happens to Tebow, Meyer would never live that down. He sits one more week.

I don't think he will play because I think the Gator defense can make Jordan Jefferson look Cromptonesque. Not to mention on 3rd and Chavis, Brantley can probably pass the ball more effectively than even Tebow. I say UF wins by 2 TD's.

Tebow has been cleared to play by doctors. I think he will play. I don't like Tebow but he is a competitor and Meyer probably cares more about winning than sitting Tebow. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if Brantley starts but if he was struggling after a couple of series, Tebow would be on the field. Doesn't matter. Tebow is going to start. Florida is playing the number four team in the country... on paper. :p

Brantly may well end up being a machine...he was the highest ranked QB out of highschool and was the #1 recruit in the country...And he has some wheels...could be scary for LSU...
