Head coach has been there since '11. What happened?

Should be an interesting one to follow regardless of interest.

I can't really find anything about him being a point guard. He's listed as a forward on the Manhattan basketball roster. Watching one of their games on youtube, he doesn't bring the ball up after made baskets. He stands out on the wing while Romar Reid brings it up. He's also a terrible shooter, he took 22.5 shots/fts combined to averaged 18.9 points. He transferred to Marquette once already and tried to play at this level as a junior and he was bad. Averaged 11 minutes and only played in 10 games. Shot 32 percent and 60 percent from the ft line. So I really don't see anything he'd bring to the team at all.

I don't really care about adding him, but he did average 4.5 assists per game last year, which is about what Chandler averaged (4.7). So even if he didn't bring the ball up, clearly the offense ran through him.

I'm surprised by this. I thought an experienced PG transfer would be a priority. Barnes must feel very good about PG by committee this season.

isn’t that true about most programs across the country though? By all accounts Key has looked good at PG and you’ve also got freshman BJE, to a lesser extent also have JJJ & Santi. Highly doubt a kid with 1 year left is very attracted to our depth chart at PG.
