The west is dominate right now it may be several years for the east to have a serious shot!

The Vols win the SECCG and NC in 2017, and all the talk about Hamilton, Dooley and Kiffin will be forgotten (but not forgiven).

Put together two or three top five recruiting classes, and we're back in back in the hunt.

Is this a serious question? The east won 11 of the first 17 including 6 in a row. I think we'll probably win at least one more between now and forever.

It's cyclical. The west has all the good teams right now, so they're going to go on a run. 5 years from now, who knows which division will have the dominant teams?

OP you sound like the ignorant members of the media who are constantly making comments that make them sound like they have only watched college football for about 5 years.

"Alabama shouldn't get to play Tennessee every year, its not fair, its an automatic win for Alabama." Yeah except for when we were beating them every year from about 94 to 2006.

Auburn proved how quickly a program can be turned around, even in the SEC. For all we know an East team could emerge next year and be dominant.

SCar (until Spurrier retires), Georgia and Missouri all have a chance to win the SEC Championship beginning next year. Florida perhaps not until 2015, UT absolutely by 2015 or 2016 if recruiting continues at its current pace and they find a QB that can play at a high level.

Vandy and Ky will never have even a remote chance to win the East .... some things will never change and this one of them. Vandy, despite another ridiculous schedule next year, will be fortunate to get to a bowl game. Hope you enjoyed the last 3 years cause it's just about over Chief.

Agree with everything except mizzou. Not saying that aren't for real, just that they lose a bunch of seniors and nearly all their playmakers. Could go either way with them.

Maybe with expansion the east could get North Dakota State and give the East a chance. Obviously some people never watched football in the 90's or early 2000's.

True. But, I guarantee you Vanderbilt will NEVER win the SEC.

Just sayin'. :)

Yeah was about to say, "the answer to OP's question is no: none of us will likely live long enough to see Vanderbilt win the SEC and should such a thing happen we'd have far worse things to worry about like the dead rising from their graves and a creepy guy on a pale horse stalking America..."

The West has had the better roster of athletes and coaches for the last few years....like the 90's and early 2000's for the East. Power will shift again eventually.....gotta build it up brick by brick.

if there's one thing I've learned...all this stuff goes in cycles.
Programs get up then down
So yeah, the east will get back to winning in Atlanta even if the midget pimp stays for 10 more years and Malzauhn keeps it up.

That's what Malzahn's wife said....
