Will there be any more commitments in the 2011 class?

Was looking at next years potential roster and if Tobias Harris were to go pro, the team would be severely lacking big men.

If Harris and Hopson go pro:

5-10 160 Chris Jones
6-0 185 Tyler Summitt
6-1 190 Trae Golden
6-4 167 Kevin Ware
6-3 190 Skylar McBee
6-6 180 Jordan McRae
6-6 197 Cameron Tatum
6-6 240 Jeronne Maymon
6-7 232 Rob Murphy
6-8 208 Renaldo Woolridge
6-9 220 Kenny Hall

Are there any big recruits that Tennessee has a good shot at? Transfer maybe? Could use another big body even if Harris stays. Should just cross my fingers for a lock out to be on the safe side.

Another question, any chance Cameron Tatum could end up pro at the end of the year? He has been stroking it from downtown and has looked good on defense.

We're probably going to go the JUCO route for a big man. Don't see us picking up any other big recruits do to the Pearl situation.

Agreed. I think we gotta see what's gonna happen w/possible [probable] sanctions first.

Whether or not they go pro, it'll be interesting to see what Pearl can do with the self imposed restrictions and what the NCAA hands down.....

I'm sure they'll try to get a center through juco. How we do next year will depend alot on whether Harris an Hopson go pro.

I heard that if we the sanctions aren't too severe that we'll have a chance with Michael Chandler.

Hopefully 2012 class will serve us better with the "bigs." Poythress, Tony Parker and Stokes to name a few are possibilties.

A lot of people seem to be confident that Harris isn't going pro. I wish I were that confident. I think I recall him saying he wanted to stay two years but a lot can change in a year. If he is projected to be a top 10 pick or even a lottery pick, I think it would be hard to say now. I really hope he does stay another year though. We would be hurting on big men if he goes.

I am a big Pearl supporter, but he is a piece of dung for putting the program in this situation.

Yeah, because being a nationally relevant, top-10 team is a terrible situation to be in. Look, take the good with the bad. If Pearl had never come here, a lot of the blowhards on this board and others who want his head on a silver platter wouldn't be fans enough to care about UT basketball one way or the other.

Success has become Pearl's biggest enemy. If Buzz had lied to the NCAA, a lot of the "fans" wouldn't care because they have only been legitimate fans for the last 6 years. I don't support Pearl's decision to lie to the NCAA, but I accept it as something that happened and look forward to a brighter future. Fortunately, he is a good enough coach to win with lesser talent. He can convince lower-level kids that they can play with anyone and knows how to coach the living daylights out of them.

I was talking about 2011 recruiting, but don't let that stop your babble.
