What a tough year for him with all the hype for him & to see #11 doing incredible things.
Not sure why he didn't play last week & hope he finishes the season out

To me he hasn’t looked his “normal” self since he’s been back.

Maybe he or someone has noticed that. Maybe he or they want to make sure he really gets back to 100. No need at all to mess anything up. I’d say he’ll be ready to go by post season if not before.

But I don’t not no much.

High ankle sprain, then the "Tua" surgery. He is a USDA Certified BEAST. He will have success in football. More importantly, he has all the tools to be successful in life.

Do you know if his parents gave them to him?

That’s one of the first things I got my kids before they left home.

I wanted to make sure they both had the tools to be successful in life.

1. I don't know him personally, but I would hope his parents were around to do that for him. None-the-less, someone important to him did.
2. You did as great parents are supposed to. Too bad thats a rare thing today.
3. Other than raising kids to find Faith in The Lord, those tools are the most important things you can give.

I so much agree with you!

I was really kidding as in I gave
Them “tools”

However that literally is the most important thing I ever did for my kids. Telling them about God. Letting them know from a young age. Having them grow up with love, kindness and decency knowing who is in control.

They gots the tools that’s all I can give them.

Didn’t they say bone bruise in uga game? They’re just being careful with him and rightfully so. He was gonna be double teamed all year long anyway. His draft stock is not hurt. He will play in last two games as needed and I expect him to show out in whatever bowl scenario we wind up in.

There's no reason this team needs to risk Tillman for these last SEC games. We got this. If we get a tough bowl game opponent, perhaps he'll suit up but there's NO WAY his NFL potential will be threatened by playing otherwise. His credentials as a player in the NFL are well established. There's no "upside" for him playing S. Carolina and Vandy, only potential re-injury that could seriously damage his earning potential.

Think he will play the last games of the season here. Mizzou was our due to poor field conditions apparently. It’d be nice to see him ball out these last two regular season games for sure.

Talking to an ortho doc friend of mine, knows nothing specifically about Tillman’s status, but said he believed Tillman aggravated the injury again. Said even with the surgery it’s still a very difficult injury to come back from and was likely a little too early to bring him back. Just his opinion only on the situation.

"Here you go, son."
"Why did you give me a socket wrench and a 10mm socket?"
"It's the tools you need to be successful in life."

(My dad did make sure I had a socket wrench before I left home)

He caught the exact type of high, errant pass in the Georgia game as the one he caught in the Akron game. It was the same side of the field and it looked like the same play. Very possible that he re-injured the ankle.

Duct tape and channel lock pliers are the keys to success ...

Seriously though, if Tilman is physically up to it and wants to play, I say let him play.

Also OP, thread title was definitely not well thought out.

Tillman will play the USCe game. He has a chance to up his draft stock, and knows it, he'll play. Further, due to the wealth of Wrs, and the emergence of Fant as a true TE weapon, SC will be sorely stressed, and unable to focus on Tillman to an appreciable degree. As a result, he will be responsible for two of our TDs, and finish with 200yds or slightly less.

My family meet his parents and sister in Jacksonville prior to the Indiana game. They are absolutely delightful.

100%, no doubt,....those two did indeed give their children the tools needed to succeed in life.

"What are these for dad?" "Well son, the socket wrench is there to teach you all sorts of new curse words and toughen up your knuckles, and the 10MM socket is there to show you how easy it is to lose things right in front of your face." :)

I dont think we see Tillman again.....and it may be a good thing.

He stays healthy and conditioned, gets drafted

Doesnt interrupt the flow of the offense that has had to adjust without him

Ramel Keyton is doing very well in his absence and now has quite a bit of film for NFL draft

WRU - business is boomin BABY!
