I believe UT and Ohio State are the only 2 programs in Division IA that have never had an 8-loss season in their history. Michigan was also in that category until a few years ago under Rich Rod.

Question is, do we join Michigan next week with our first 8-loss season in our history? Kentucky is pretty bad, but I'm not sure at this point that we could beat anyone.

If Larry is correct and the announcement is made tomorrow morning that Dooley is fired, then I see this team coming out next week and beating the hell out of UK.

Not gonna happen. Only 'cause Kentucky is "that" bad.

i doubt we loose to Kentucky but then again I did say we would have a new President this year, Hostess would still be making twinkies, and the world will end Dec. 21 but hey I have been wrong before....

Since they've fired Joker, too, we're both dealing with a lot of confusion. We out talent them, and it's in Neyland, so I give us the edge.

I personally thought we would lose to Vandy after the way they played vs SC in the first game of the season. Just my opinion, but I hope not. It wouldn't surprise me at all.

yep. UK is awful but at least they try to play football. If you can call it football. Tonight it looked like the players want Dooley gone. If Dooley is gone they'll play hard because they'll have hope for the future. There is no future with Dooley.

I'm just interjecting to say that it's dang impressive UT has never had an 8 loss season. You figure even the best programs have a season go completely to the crapper at some point in their existence. Now, a 5 or 6 loss season is absolutely terrible for UT standards, but even the most hard-core fan has to admit never losing 8 is a testimony to the great tradition of UT football.

With Dooley - possible

With Interim - unlikely

actually have to disagree. Its possible either way, but the way they played tonight, if an annoucement is not made and there's a possibility Dooley stays, we'll get the same effort.

I think the Vols will win ... only because we are playing at home.

I'm not sure playing at home is all that relevant anymore. Sad times. But I understand what you mean. And hope we win cause the seniors deserve a win.
