If I'm not mistaken, Al Wilson played RB/DB at a Jackson, TN school. He was recruited as such but then he put on muscle and they moved him to LB just to get him on the field. This speed is what seems to be lacking with some of our LBs. I loved the play when Wilson is moving around the defensive line looking for his "spot". He then blitzes in, startles the QB, hits him and lands on him! Way to go Al.

Wilson and Little both wore those OL type shoulder pads back in the day. Intimidation cuz you know they were gonna hitcha!!!

There's not a person that has lived or will ever live who enjoyed playing football at UT more than Al Wilson. His enthusiasm to this day just leaps out of the video and certainly did if you saw him play live.
